My daughter has been with Ms. Zampati and her team for four years and is in very good hands. The teachers do their best to provide good care and engage with parents. We feel very well looked after there, educationally speaking. My daughter comes home from kindergarten happy, and that's what matters most!

I'm overjoyed that we chose this facility three years ago! The teachers are not only incredibly caring, but also very professional. You immediately notice how much passion they put into their work – each child is seen, supported, and taken seriously as an individual. I'm particularly touched by how sensitively the children's needs are addressed. Whether playing, learning, or even in difficult moments – the children always feel safe and valued. My child enjoys coming to the facility every morning and enthusiastically tells us about his experiences at home. The communication with us parents is also excellent. You always feel well informed and included. A huge thank you to the entire team – you do a wonderful job!

I would recommend this daycare without reservation. Our child seems to feel at home, and we can confidently entrust him or her to the loving care of the teachers. The staff is warm-hearted, interacts with the children on equal terms, and addresses them individually. Everyone seems committed and dedicated to their work. You can tell they're not just doing their job by the book. I'm truly grateful to the people who work there for their work. In the morning, the children are met and greeted individually at the door to the group room. They have time to settle in and receive appropriate attention. You often see a (young) child on the lap or in the arms of a staff member if saying goodbye in the morning was difficult. There is an individual handover at pick-up. Each child has a key staff member who soon gets to know the child and can also respond to subtle cues. However, it is generally ensured that every teacher knows the children, can welcome them in the morning, and can accompany them individually. For the inner-city area, the garden is still appropriately large and shady with trees. Here, and also in the gym, the children can get plenty of exercise. Apetito provides lunch. Fresh vegetables are also served daily. The nursery children have two bedrooms, each with their own sleeping space. There is also a quiet time in the kindergarten area. Everything is clean and well-maintained.

Our daughter has been attending this facility since June 2025, after we transferred from another daycare center in Esslingen, run by the same Little Giants/Kleine Riesen provider. It is very important to us to write this review and express our sincere thanks to Ms. Zampati and the entire wonderful team. Our previous experience had led us to believe that all of this provider's facilities suffered from severe staffing shortages – sometimes even below the legally required minimum. This often led to groups being combined, the daycare center having to close at short notice, or its opening hours being reduced. This placed an enormous burden on working parents. Unfortunately, this happened far too often at the previous facility. Furthermore, the previous facility was not particularly well-suited to accommodating young children. The staff often seemed demotivated and displayed a certain strictness in their behavior and decisions, which was sometimes difficult to understand. We were repeatedly and insistently asked to take our daughter to the pediatrician for supposed illnesses – in most cases without any actual reason. The constant turnover in the teaching team also led to instability and made it difficult for the children to develop a trusting bond with a caregiver. In the new facility, however, we experience a completely different, yet entirely positive, situation: The team is committed, friendly, and seems to enjoy working here. Above all, there are sufficient teaching staff – the legally required minimum number is not only met, but significantly exceeded. This ensures stability in everyday life, prevents closures, and reduces the risk of reduced care times. The management here is doing an excellent job – which is noticeable to everyone involved. The building itself also makes a big difference: It is modern, well-ventilated, flooded with light, and was specifically built for the care of young children. All group rooms have direct access to the well-maintained courtyard, which is actively used every day. The children spend time outdoors every day – something that rarely happened at the previous daycare center, especially in the half-day group (the answer was always, "There are new children who need more attention during the settling-in period" – an explanation that, in my opinion, makes little sense). This is also a clear advantage from a health perspective, as the old facility didn't even allow windows to be opened: There was only a mechanical ventilation system, meaning no natural fresh air supply. We are very satisfied and happy to have chosen this daycare center – and can wholeheartedly recommend it to families in Esslingen.

Wir hatten heute den Besichtigungstag, waren sehr begeistert von der sehr symphatischen Begegnung mit der Leitung Elisavet, der Sauberkeit der Einrichtung und der Fröhlichkeit, mit der die Kinder unserem Sohn begegnet sind. Das sieht alles sehr gut aus. In knapp vier Wochen geht es los, er freut sich sehr darauf, dort betreut zu werden. Und wir uns mit ihm! 😊 Auf eine schöne Zeit in der Plochinger Straße! Ergänzung: Zwischenzeitlich ist unser Sohn in der Eingewöhnung, fühlt sich sehr wohl, geht sehr gerne zu den kleinen Riesen und hat seine Betreuerinnen schon ins Herz geschlossen. Eine wundervolle Kita mit einem großartigen Team! Unsere Tochter ist seit nunmehr vier Jahren bei den Kleinen Riesen in Esslingen zuerst in der Krippengruppe, danach im Kindergarten und wir könnten uns keinen besseren Ort für ihre Entwicklung und Betreuung wünschen. Das gesamte Team leistet einfach großartige Arbeit. Die Erzieherinnen sind mit ganzem Herzen dabei, geben sich unglaublich viel Mühe und haben stets das Wohl der Kinder im Blick. Man merkt, wie wichtig ihnen jedes einzelne Kind ist sie schaffen eine liebevolle, strukturierte und fördernde Umgebung, in der sich die Kinder sicher und geborgen fühlen können. Alles wird mit großer Sorgfalt organisiert, und es ist ihnen wichtig, dass alles gut läuft für die Kinder, aber auch für uns Eltern. Besonders schätzen wir auch die offene Kommunikation. Wenn es mal ein Anliegen oder eine Frage gibt, ist immer jemand da, der zuhört, unterstützt oder mit Rat zur Seite steht. Diese Offenheit und das vertrauensvolle Miteinander haben uns über die ganzen Jahre hinweg ein sehr gutes Gefühl gegeben. Nun ist unsere Tochter im letzten Kindergartenjahr, und der Abschied fällt uns nicht leicht. Wir sind unendlich dankbar für die gemeinsame Zeit und werden die Kleinen Riesen immer mit einem Lächeln im Herzen weiterempfehlen. Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team ihr seid einfach spitze!

My daughter was there for over 2 years. We felt extremely comfortable there, my daughter felt very comfortable there, there was a lot on offer there, there was music every day, good-humoured and motivated teachers. The opening times there are also 100% family-friendly. The children are always taken into account, each child is met at their point of view and supported there. There was also a lot of offers/festivals for the entire family there, there were several festivals every year that were organized with a lot of love 💘. We left with very sad faces. My daughter still speaks positively about the facility today (1 year) after leaving the daycare center and would like to visit the facility very often. I am glad that I found this daycare center for my child. All staff at the facility are very friendly and respond to the needs of children and parents very flexibly and understandingly. The activities in the daycare center such as singing, crafts and storytelling promote my child's development. Although German is not the language we speak at home, the carers are very understanding of our situation with us and the child and make everything very pleasant. I would 100% recommend this facility for a happy place for a child.

I can only recommend this facility. It is absolutely child-friendly: lots of exercise every day, singing, dancing, music, crafts, everything a toddler needs. Very friendly, flexible and committed educators who also make sure that the children learn and adhere to basic rules. My child finds it very difficult to open up and make friends, but she really enjoys going to daycare here every day. There are no unexpected closures of the kindergarten because the management was always able to provide enough staff. We are very happy that our child has such a great place at kindergarten.
