Cologne Ossendorf
Our day care centre opened in September 2022 in the residential area of Ossendorf Am Butzweilerhof. Here we offer children an environment where they can develop and flourish in the best possible way. Modern furniture and the colour scheme in our rooms provide a feel-good atmosphere where our “little giants” feel safe and secure. The interior design and a large selection of often natural play materials encourage children to pursue their instinctive urge to learn and explore through playful educational experiences.
Our facility is spread over two floors: on the lower level are our group rooms, each with its own kitchen and bedroom. The functional rooms on the upper floor are open to all children from any of our groups. Here they can pursue their individual interests during free play time and find new playing companions. In addition, our large sports hall is located on the upper floor, offering a climbing wall and physical activity materials to encourage the children to run around and test their own abilities.

Educational concept
At our daycare centre, we place special emphasis on the topics of nutrition, exercise and sustainability. We give children the opportunity to get to know their bodies, personalities and needs in a variety of ways. This includes teaching them environmental awareness from an early age. We see it as our educational mission to provide children with a positive self-image by training and promoting the relevant skills they need. In line with our principles, we offer an exclusively vegetarian midday meal.

Monthly costs
For the daycare year 2024/2025:
The childcare costs are based on the schedule of fees issued by the city of Cologne. In addition, a monthly flat rate for full board of € 120 for the nursery and € 130 for the kindergarten is payable to the daycare centre provider.

A great daycare center that is particularly characterized by the great team on site. Opening a stable new daycare center in times of staff shortages is probably an almost impossible task. The fact that the management and their employees have managed to find so many warm-hearted and committed employees in these challenging times is evidence not only of a strong performance, but also of the appreciative atmosphere on site - which our children are also able to experience every day. We consider ourselves lucky every day to have a daycare center right around the corner that shines with such great staff. Thanks!

We have been with the little giants and in the U3 group for over a year. During the U3 time, my son developed so well and he felt seen at all times, which we mainly owe to the great specialists who really put their heart and soul there for the children. I think the purely vegetarian diet is offered is very progressive.
