* In order to do the income calculations, the parents income from the previous year (the calendar year before the child begins attending daycare) is taken into account. (Example: For the year 2015/16, the 2013 income is used).
** The core time is 8:15 am to 12:15 pm. During core time, undisturbed joint educational work is to take place to implement the contents of the Bavarian Education and Training Plan.
*** Currently, the Free State of Bavaria pays a monthly parental contribution subsidy of 100 euros to the provider of the day care centre. This is deducted from all payments to the day care centre (lunch money and parental contribution). If there is a negative amount after deduction, it will not be paid out to the parents but will be refunded to the public authorities.
